Avoca Council awards $178,957 Little League Clubhouse project, adopts 2026 ordinances

PA AVOCA — Avoca Borough Council approves $178,957 Little League Clubhouse project and 2026 budget. The council unanimously awarded construction to Hadley Construction and Adv. Electrical totaling $178,957, and approved a final $13,083.24 payment to Ed Krasavage Construction, Inc.
The council adopted four 2026 fiscal ordinances establishing a 3.1 mil property tax rate and re-enacting wage, real estate transfer, and local services taxes. Insurance renewal with Risk Strategies/Joyce Insurance Group increased to $55,473 from $49,812. The council also approved a $121,735.25 street department dump truck through a statewide grant and established a new 2026 refuse collection fee schedule.
