Avoca Council elects Holly Homschek as President

PA AVOCA — Avoca Borough Council elects Holly Homschek as President. At its January 5 reorganization meeting, the council elected Homschek to lead the body by an 8-0 roll call vote, with William Satkowski elected Vice President by the same margin. Mayor Robert Mullen administered oaths to newly elected officials.
The council also approved appointments of borough officials including Attorney Jordan Dempsey as Solicitor, David Homschek as Police Chief, and Jennifer Davitt as Treasurer, among others, by a 9-0 voice vote.
